What happens to my assets and wallet information if I uninstall and reinstall the D'CENT Wallet for Chrome?

D'CENT Wallet for Chrome is a PC browser extension that allows you to manage your assets and use various Web3 services by connecting a biometric wallet to your PC via a USB cable.

In other words, it enables you to use the same features provided by the D'CENT mobile app in a PC environment, and your actual assets and wallet information are not stored in D'CENT Wallet for Chrome.

 

The cryptocurrency assets held in your D'CENT wallet exist on the blockchain network, and the private keys used to generate and manage those addresses are stored in the biometric wallet. Therefore, even if you delete the D'CENT Wallet for Chrome extension, your assets will not be lost and your wallet settings will not be changed.

After reinstalling the extension and reconnecting your biometric wallet, your existing assets and wallet information will be synchronized as they were.

 

However, some data stored locally (on your PC), such as swap history, custom token accounts, favorites in the Discovery tab, and settings configured in the Settings tab, may be deleted. If necessary, please take screenshots of this information and keep them separately.
